Braces by Burris & Associates and Dr. Burris have been named finalists in the Northeast Arkansas Business of the Year Awards in the business and business executive categories, respectively. Dr. Burris and his team will be recognized at the inaugural awards event Oct. 11 at the ASU Convocation Center.

Motivation for establishing the business, outstanding characteristics and the company’s biggest challenge were among considerations in narrowing finalists for Business of the Year. Categories such as accomplishments, challenges overcome and management philosophy helped determine finalists for Business Executive of the Year.

An award event will be held Oct. 11, 2011, at the ASU Convocation Center in Jonesboro.
